# Customer interview summary

A summary style for the Meeting Recorder. Flag this page as a skill of kind Meeting summary (Share menu → Skill → Meeting summary), then pick it in the summary-style dropdown of any AI meeting-notes block to summarize a customer interview this way.

## Sections

Produce these sections, in this order, with these headings:

## Who we spoke to

One or two sentences: role, company type, how they use the product today. Only what the interview states.

## Goals

Bullets: what the person is trying to achieve, in their words where possible.

## Pains

Bullets: what gets in the way today, with the cost of each pain when it was stated (time lost, money, risk).

## Current workaround

Bullets: the tools or habits they use instead. Say "not discussed" if the interview did not cover it.

## Quotes worth keeping

Three to five short verbatim quotes that capture how they talk about the problem.

## Follow-ups

A task-list checkbox for each promise we made, each question we did not get to, and each person we should talk to next.

## Rules

- Write in the language of the transcript.
- Never invent a goal, a pain or a quote that is not in the transcript.
- If a section has no material, write one bullet saying it was not covered.
- Keep the whole summary under 350 words, quotes included.
